A family workshop, not a factory
Wingcraft Models is Noel Pineda's workshop in the Philippines. Noel has been carving aircraft for more than 30 years, and the people sanding, painting and packing beside him are family.
Together we've finished over 10,000 models for pilots, owners and collectors in more than 15 countries. Each one starts as a block of wood and a photo someone sent us.
You talk to the same people who build your model. There's no middleman and no assembly line, just a small team that sends you photos as your aircraft comes together.

How your model is made
Four stages, all by hand, over about three months. You get photos after each one and can ask for changes before we move on.
Step 1: Carving the wood
We study photos and drawings of your aircraft, then carve and sand the fuselage, wings and tail from solid wood until the shape matches.
About 3–4 weeks
Step 2: Putty and primer
Layers of putty and primer fill the grain and seal the wood so the surface is smooth, waterproof and ready for paint. The base colours go on here.
About 2–3 weeks
Step 3: Hand painting
Our painter adds the livery by hand: stripes, pinstripes, logos and registration, checked against your photos.
About 2–3 weeks
Step 4: Final details
Antennas, propellers, engine fans and the other small parts go on last. We photograph the finished model for your approval, then pack it for shipping.

How much does a custom aircraft model cost?
A 12" model starts at $230 and a 15" model starts at $275 (USD), with FedEx door-to-door shipping included. Larger sizes and orders of five or more models are quoted individually. The final price depends on the aircraft and the amount of detail.
What do you need from me to get started?
A photo of your aircraft and its name or model number is enough to begin. If it has a custom livery, tail number or special markings, send close-up photos of those too and we will match them.
How long does a model take?
Most models are finished in 75 to 90 days. Large or multi-model orders follow the timeline we agree on before starting. We send photos at every stage of the build so you can follow along.
What sizes can you make?
Our standard sizes are 12" and 15". We also build custom sizes, including large display models. Tell us where the model will sit and we will suggest a size that fits the space.
What are the models made of? Are they plastic kits?
No. Each model is carved by hand from wood, sealed with putty and primer, then hand-painted and detailed. Nothing comes out of a plastic kit, so each model is shaped around your specific aircraft.
What kinds of aircraft do you build?
Almost anything that flies: single-engine pistons like the Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokee, twins, turboprops, business jets such as Citations, Gulfstreams and Challengers, airliners, military aircraft and helicopters like the Robinson R44 and Airbus EC130.
Can I ask for changes while the model is being built?
Yes. You get progress photos at each stage, and you can ask us to add, fix or redo details as many times as needed before the model ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide with FedEx door-to-door delivery, and shipping is included in the price. Every model is packed by hand so it arrives ready to display.

How do I pay?
We accept PayPal, bank transfer and Western Union. Once you approve the quote, we send a deposit invoice and start building.
Is a custom model a good gift for a pilot?
It is one of the most common reasons people order from us. Spouses, children and colleagues often order a replica of a pilot's own aircraft for a retirement, birthday or holiday. If you have a deadline, tell us when you first message us so we can confirm the timing.
Do you take corporate or fleet orders?
Yes. If you need several models, for example a company fleet or a set of client gifts, orders of five or more are quoted individually. Message us with the aircraft, quantities and your deadline.
